I know voting for the jam is over but this is a really cool game! It's difficult. The sprites and SFX are excellent and unique. I expected it to be a passive puzzle game, sort of like Lt Surge's gym in Pokémon red/blue. I was wrong. It's way more stressful :D Great job!

Haha. Indeed! I haven't thought about it, but now that you say it, I can totally see the likeness with lt surge gym XD
